Natural gas metering services
The purpose of metering services is to provide the necessary metering and verification services, according to your consumption and current regulations.
Nedgia will bill your supply company for the amounts corresponding to the equipment and services contracted. The supply company will then bill you this same amount.
Nedgia makes available to consumers the meters listed in the following tables under a rental scheme (in accordance with Order TEC/1367/2018 of 20 December, Annex III, for supply pressures ≤ 4 bar):

Conversion device rental
Nedgia offers UNE-EN 12405-1:2023 compliant volume conversion devices to its consumers under a rental scheme for meters with low frequency pulse emitters.
Rental prices include:
- Cost of assembling equipment and accessories.
- Pressure and temperature sensors.
- Installation costs.
- Corrective maintenance, with customer service for between 3 and 7 working days depending on severity of issue.
- Preventive maintenance, verification of loops on site within the deadlines established by law according to consumption.
- Issue of certificates and delivery of a copy to the user.
- Change of gas quality parameters in case of PTZ type devices.
- Battery changes.
- Replacement equipment if it cannot be repaired on site.

Transfer of conversion devices
If you require the temporary installation of a volume conversion device due to a fault or other situation involving the one you already own, Nedgia offers you a UNE-EN 12405-1:2023 compliant device for a maximum period of 6 months:

The price does not include VAT. The price includes installation and removal of the conversion device.
Meter verification
At Nedgia, we offer our consumers a metrology check service for the meters they own.
This service includes:
- Assembly and disassembly of the temporary replacement meter, or spare meter if the customer has one.
- Transfer and metrology checks on the meter at the lab.
- If the meter passes the test: transfer, meter assembly and delivery of the corresponding certificate.
By way of reference, below are the prices for the verification of turbine meters:

The prices do not include the cost of the meter, which will depend on the time it remains installed.
If the meter needs to be repaired or fails to pass the lab tests, the meter will be sent to the manufacturer. The manufacturer will then send you the bill for repair of the equipment, which will require your approval before any action is taken.
Verification of volume conversion devices
Nedgia offers consumers a service to check the volume conversion devices they own.
This service includes:
- Confirmation of the accuracy of the conversion device (convertor, pressure transmitter and temperature probe) at the premises of the consumer, and issue and delivery of the corresponding certificate.
- Correction loop adjustment if outside the range of accuracy, only if permitted by the detected error margin.
The cost per metering unit is €544.50.
The conversion device check can only be carried out if the consumer’s installation has casing or a thermowell for the temperature probe and a shut-off valve for disconnecting the pressure between the meter inlet and the pressure transmitter inlet.
These prices include 21 % VAT.
Users whose annual consumption exceeds 5 GWh/year, consumers on a 3.5 access tariff and consumers with a contract of less than one year will need to have remote measurement devices that record their gas consumption, according to Order IET/2446/2013, of 27 December, establishing the tariffs and fees associated with access by third parties to gas installations and the payment for regulated activities.
Failure to comply with these regulations may incur penalties for the user.

Nedgia provides consumers with remote metering equipment rental at the following rates:

- Cost of the communications module.
- Value of cabinet and its preparation.
- Feed source (internal or external).
- ATEX protection barriers.
- Installation cost.
- SIM and related telephone costs.
- Corrective maintenance, with customer service for between 3 and 7 working days depending on severity of issue.
- Changing batteries in remote equipment integrated into converters.
- Replacement equipment if it cannot be repaired on site.
- User access via a website to personal data about daily/hourly consumption.
Prices do not include:
- Installation of electricity supply and electricity consumption.
- The prices indicated do not include VAT.

Protocols
A service from Nedgia for companies
- Technical assistance and installation of customer-owned remote reading modules.
- The distribution company installs a customer-owned Remote Reading module on the existing meter.
- The remote reading module must be compatible with the one potentially installed by the distribution company and must meet the technical and regulatory specifications for installation and for guaranteeing the issue of data to the distribution company and the consumer's data centre.
- The rate will apply whether a technical assistance visit is requested for corrective or any other intervention.
Customer-owned remote reading module installation service (alongside our own module) for providing consumption data from the meter.
