1 – APPLICATION REGISTRATION
Register your application with the necessary information:
- Plot location.
- Information on the connection point.
- Number of homes/premises to be connected.
- Date on which you need us to carry out the connection work.
2 – ACCEPTANCE AND QUOTATION
Once your application has been accepted, we will send you a detailed quotation which you can accept.
3 – PAYMENT
We will finalise the agreement and you will need to make the relevant payment.
4 – PROJECT, PERMITS AND WORK
We will begin processing the project, formalities and work necessary to complete the connection.
Please remember to update the required connection date as we plan our work around this date. Bear in mind that if we start the process too early, permits may expire and we will have to start from scratch, which could lead to delays.
5 – REGISTRATION OF THE SUPPLY POINT IN THE GAS NETWORK
To ensure supply to each property, a CUPS must be generated and authorised for gas use in the gas system. To do this, you must need to provide us with:
- Exact layout of the property. Entrances, staircases, floors, flats, doors.
- Community gas installation certificates.
- Final completion certificate or first-occupancy licence.

About
The required connection date is the date on which you expect to need the gas supply to be available at the property. We use this information to plan connection work and coordinate the necessary actions.
Why is it important?
If you give us too much notice and we start the process too early, some permits or authorisations may expire before the work is carried out, forcing us to restart part of the process and causing delays to the connection.
2. What does a property need to contract gas?
For each home or business premises to be able to contract a gas supply, a CUPS (Universal Supply Point Code) must be generated and activated in the gas system so that you can sign up with a supply company. We will therefore need the following information:
- Complete layout of the property (entrances, staircases, floors, flats and doors).
- Community gas installation certificates.
- Final completion certificate or first-occupancy licence.
- Documentation for the day the gas is turned on.
Once you have taken out a supply contract with the supply company, you will need to provide the following technical documentation on the day the installation is commissioned:
- RITE
- Project
- Chimney certificate
