Anomalies detected in the gas check

How to correct the anomalies detected?

Hire a qualified installation company

A list of installation companies can be found on the website of the ministerial department:

Correct the anomaly and hand in the certificate

The chosen installation company must correct the anomaly and provide you with the anomaly correction certificate once the problem has been resolved.

Who provides the certificate?

The authorised installer must send the certificate of correction of anomalies as soon as possible to the distribution company through the private collaborators area of our website or, if you prefer to do it yourself, you must send it to the email address documentacioninspeccion@nedgia.es.

Any questions?

Who corrects the anomalies?

The installer or authorized company, or the technical assistance service.

None of the technicians performing the mandatory inspection are allowed to correct them (neither us as your distribution company, nor the installer you choose to carry out the inspection).

Who restores the supply?

If a total or partial shut-off occurred in the individual installation or gas appliances after detecting anomalies, the same installer who corrected them must restore the supply once resolved.

If the shut-off affected the communal installation, the installer must contact us to restore the supply to the entire building.

What happens if I don’t send the anomaly correction form?

If we do not receive the ACF, we will not be aware that the anomalies have been corrected, and your installation will be recorded as non-compliant with current regulations, which may lead to the interruption of the gas supply.

How much time do I have to correct the anomaly you detected during the regular inspection?

During the inspection, our technician provided you with the information and documents where you can find these periods, which are 15 working days for major faults and 6 months for secondary or minor faults. Remember that the installer must send us the anomaly correction form through the established channels.

What should be done after the anomaly has been corrected?

Once the anomaly has been corrected, the authorised installer or your gas device's technical service must provide you with a copy of the anomaly correction form and send us a copy, scanned or in a full-page photo, through the private collaborators’ area on our website. Otherwise, you can send it to us by email to documentacioninspeccion@nedgia.es.
